DAY 2  Anchorage -  Whittier - Anchorage 8/27 

• After breakfast, visit the Captain Cook Monument, Old Anchorage City Hall, Earthquake Park, and Lake Hood Harbor, a seafar; The 9.2 magnitude earthquake in 1964 not only destroyed the Anchorage earthquake, but also brought another life to Anchorage!!
• Afterwards head to Whittier. On the way, you will pass through the Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel. This is the longest rail-road tunnel in North America, with a total length of 4.05 kilometers. DAY 3  Anchorage - Alaska Dome Train Denali Gold Star Train - Fairbanks Fairbanks   8/28 

• Head early in the morning to Anchorage train station, located not far from the city center. Then take the Denali Gold Star Train, the highly acclaimed Alaska Dome Train, from south to north through the Alaskan hinterland, passing the snow-capped Denali National Park, overlooking the highest peak in North America, McKinley Peak. • Ferban is the final point of the Yukon Quest dog sled race every February, a 1,600-kilometre long race that is considered the toughest race in the world! Then head to the Alaska Pipeline, a 1,480-kilometer large tubing across Alaska that runs from Proo Bay in the Arctic, from Furbanan to Wadez Exit, across the Arctic frozen zone and many discontinuous tundra, so that part of the construction is on the ground and the other part is under the ground.
